NBC Had No Idea Who Warren Zeiders Was
NBC was airing coverage of the Army’s 250th Anniversary Military Parade and Warren Zeiders popped up on the screen because he was performing live.
The only problem was that the hosts had NO IDEA who he was, and it got even more awkward after that.
Host Aaron Gilchrist said,
“I don’t know who this is singing right now. And I probably should . .”
And then Kelly O’Donnell came in with,
“We were told there would be a surprise . . . I was also hoping we would be told who the surprise is, but this is I’m sure an important booking.”
Aaron then asked the control room who he was, and thought his name was WALLEN Zeiders for a while.
But here’s the best part. Kelly then said,
“Time for the Google. Country music fans are very frustrated with us right now that we don’t know that.”
