Chris Stapleton Once Sang Backup For Billy Ray Cyrus
Did you know that Chris Stapleton once sang backup for Billy Ray Cyrus?
Back in 2007, Billy Ray was on the “Today” show promoting his new song, “Ready, Set, Don’t Go,” and in the studio performing with him was a long-haired fellow you might recognize.
Apparently one of Chris’ first TV gigs, was singing backup vocals for Billy Ray.
Luckily, he stepped out from that shadow, and now Chris has the #1 country album of the century.
