Lainey Wilson Doesn’t Always Listen To Her Mom

With Mother’s Day coming up this Sunday, Lainey Wilson recently shared her thoughts about her great relationship with her mom.

What stuck out the most was the one piece of advice that Lainey will refuse to take from her mama, and that’s about singing.

“I always say, ‘I don’t wanna take advice from people who aren’t where I want to be’ . . . I remember growing up and singing, my mama cannot carry a tune in a bucket, but she would try to tell me how to sing, and it would make me so mad. Because I was like, ‘You can’t sing!'”

Lainey went on to say she looks to her mom for a lot of other advice, but she’s all good on singing tips.
