A Fan Asked Kelsea Ballerini To Sign Divorce Papers
Kelsea Ballerini was performing in Salt Lake City over the weekend when she saw a fan’s sign that read, “Will you help finish ‘rolling up my welcome mat,’ and sign my divorce decree?”
She was surprised and confused.
Kelsea initially said she’d be “honored,” but then she thought about it more and even asked aloud if it would be legal.
But ultimately, she declined and said,
“Respectfully, I’m really excited to stop being the poster child for divorce. But I’m really happy for you, and I’m sorry you went through that.”
She did write the guy a note on the back, and she encouraged him to get someone LEGIT to sign the papers.
Kelsea is divorced from Morgan Evans, but she’s hardly the “poster child” for divorce in the country music world.
