Trisha Yearwood’s induction into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame aired for the first time.

She was honoured with a star-studded cast of friends such as Don Henley who sang “Walkaway Joe” with her and Matthew McConaughey who starred in the video.

“You know, as a younger artist I got a chance to be a part of paying tribute to other artists along the way. But the thought that people would come out for me like that? It’s really humbling and…and in a way embarrassing and overwhelming. And I was just so blown away. You know, Matthew McConaughey did a little piece. The fact that Don Henley came. You know, Brothers Osborne, Jo Dee Messina, Brandy Clark, Ronnie Dunn – it was just so kind of these artists to come and sing my songs…for me and with me.”

Trisha’s debut single went to #1… “She’s In Love With the Boy” in 1991.
