Kelly Clarkson And Lainey Wilson Are Obsessed With Each Other
Lainey Wilson just appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and they both gushed over how much they love and respect one another.
Kelly Clarkson started the love fest by telling Lainey,
“I saw you perform at the Academy of Country Music Awards and . . . Oh my god. Your whole body is moving and into the song. Everything is singing.”
And then Lainey told her,
“You’re the same way. I also know that you covered ‘Heart Like a Truck’. And, even when you are singing everybody else’s songs, it’s not like you just learned the words and got up there . . . You are really feeling it for everything it is . . . That means so much to me.”
Kelly told her,
“It means so much to ME that you are writing music that inspires.” But Lainey then found her moment to playfully take a dig at Kelly by saying, “But you’re singing everybody’s song better than they’re singing ’em. You better quit!”
And of course, they did a Kellyoke segment too, and teamed up for a duet of Lainey’s new song “Country’s Cool Again”.
