Jelly Roll Plays Surprise Toy Drive Concert In Nashville
Jelly Roll partnered with Hasbro and Coca-Cola for a big holiday toy drive this year.
He announced it last month and predicted it would be the “biggest partnered toy drive in Nashville history.” Eight Walmarts around Nashville are in on it.
Since then, he’s been doing surprise concerts outside different Walmart stores to bring people in. The price of admission is to donate a toy.
He did another surprise show on Saturday at a Walmart in Antioch, Tennessee, just outside the city.
He even got the mayor of Nashville to show up for this one.
Antioch is Jelly’s hometown, and he noted that he grew up about three minutes away from where he was standing.
It’s not clear how many more shows he’s got planned, but the toy drive runs through December 15th.
All the toys will be handed out by the Nashville Fire Department and Metro Police.
