Darius Rucker And His Estranged Wife Are Still “Parenting Partners”
Darius Rucker’s new album “Carolyn’s Boy” is inspired by his late mom who raised six kids on her OWN.
His dad lived down the street but was never around.
“It was tough growing up without a dad. I hated it. I don’t ever want my kids to not know where their dad is or how they can get in touch with him, because I never knew how to get in touch with mine.”
Even though Darius and his wife Beth consciously uncoupled three-and-a-half years ago, he is NOT going to be like his dad.
He and his wife have remained “close friends and parenting partners.”

“We played our butts off. We were great. I sang the wedding song and then we played the show.”
