Superstars Featured On Jimmy Buffett’s Final Album

Paul McCartney and Emmylou Harris are both featured on Jimmy Buffett’s final recordings.

Three songs were dropped over the weekend and the album, Equal Strain On All Parts, will be out on November 3.

The title was inspired by Buffett’s grandfather’s description of “a good nap”.

The song released on the weekend is called “Bubbles Up”.

Paul McCartney plays on the new album and says about the song,

“He turned a diving phrase that is used to train people underwater into a metaphor for life when you’re confused and don’t know where you are just follow the bubbles – they’ll take you up to the surface and straighten you out right away.”

Paul also plays on the track “My Gummie Just Kicked In” which is also pre-released.
