Jelly Roll Buys His Own Album At Walmart
Jelly Roll took time out of his tour to hit up a Walmart in Arkansas, and see if he could actually find his album there this time.
“Whitsitt Chapel” is the first time he’s had a new album on shelves at Walmart, so when it came out in June, he was excited to buy it there.
The one he went to didn’t have it though, and no one in the store even recognized him. He joked that first trip broke his heart.
This trip went very differently though. They had dozens of copies, and at least two sections devoted to just his album.

A ton of fans asked for photos and autographs this time too.
He ended up buying a CD, a copy on vinyl, and since he was there, a six-pack of lighters.
