Taylor Swift’s Most Popular Albums Are Still Her Country Ones
Taylor Swift’s fifth album “1989” was when she really made the switch to pop music.
When she announced it in 2014, she said,
“This is my very first documented, official pop album.” But it turns out her first four albums . . . the more country ones . . . might still be her most POPULAR. Someone polled hundreds of Taylor fans nationwide to see which albums they like best. And her early one did pretty well.
They asked fans which of her 10 albums they “like” or “love.”
And the two that ranked highest were her second album “Fearless”, and her fourth album “Red”. 61% said they still “like” or “love” those albums.
The rest of the top five are “1989” . . . her first album, “Taylor Swift” . . . and her 2019 album, “Lover”.
If you just look at people’s FAVORITE album, her newer stuff does a little better.
The top five are: “Lover”, “1989”, “Red”, “Taylor Swift”, and “Fearless”.
