Megan Moroney Happy To Have Debut Album Out
Megan Moroney’s debut album is called “Lucky” and it came out on May 5th.
During her freshman year at the University of Georgia, an opportunity to open for Chase Rice at the iconic Georgia Theatre prompted Moroney to write her first original song.
Moroney released her debut EP Pistol Made Of Roses in June of 2022, then a few months later in September, “Tennessee Orange” was released.
So for Megan, the full album being released was the next step.
“It’s just very exciting to have my debut album finally out in the world. I feel like they were living in my phone there for a second. And now to just finally have them out is really exciting. And seeing the fan response has been incredible too. I feel like there’s no consensus on what everyone’s favorite song is. And that makes me really excited because I feel like there’s something for everyone on this record.”
