A story spread over the weekend that Luke Bryan, in solidarity with Jason Aldean, pulled all his videos from CMT.

But it wasn’t true. It was in a story in the satirical website UpliftingToday.com.

The “story” had other silly stuff like Toby Keith starting his own TV network called “Real Country Television,” “the President” cancelling his CMT subscription, and Jason creating his own small town called Aldeanville.

Meanwhile,  Jason was his defiant self at his show in Cincinnati on Friday.

He told the crowd it had been “a long week” and that he’s seen a lot of stuff suggesting things that were not true.

He said everybody’s entitled to their own opinion, but just because you believe it, doesn’t mean it’s true.

“You guys know how it is this day and age, cancel culture is a thing. If people don’t like what you say, they try to make sure that they can cancel you, which means try and ruin your life, ruin everything.”
