Eric Church To Perform At Country Music Hall Of Fame
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has invited Eric Church to be its 18th artist-in-residence.
He will produce and perform two shows — Tuesday, August 29th and Wednesday, August 30th.
Tickets to each performance range from $75 to $500 (plus ticketing fees) with all proceeds benefiting the nonprofit museum’s educational mission.
“As a student of the rich history of country music’s most prolific artists, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a shrine of reverence for this songwriter’s heart. I’m honored and humbled to be included in such esteemed company.”
Eric will also be the subject of a new exhibition at the museum that explores his life and career. Eric Church: Country Heart, Restless Soul opens on July 13th.
And speaking of Eric, here’s what Elle King had to say about opening for Eric on tour.
“Well, isn’t Eric Church just… he wild! You never know what he’s gonna do and he’s just a badass and I’m excited because his fans hopefully will like me. You know, it’s, it’s like a contrast from Stapleton, you know, but I’ll take any opportunity to… I love being an opener. I love that job. You have a job, you go out there, and you gotta get people amped up, ready, pumped up for a badass headliner.“
