Morgan Hoffman of “ET Canada” brought up how Lainey was “trending” on TikTok earlier this year.
It was purposely vague, but Lainey got the hint.
“If y’all don’t know what we’re talking about. My big ole butt went viral on TikTok. [There] was so much love for the booty. I was like ‘My booty introduced my music to a lot of folks, and I’m okay with that.’ I just think , ‘What would Dolly do?'” She’d own it. And that’s what I’m gonna do. I’ve been at this a long time and if you found out about my music and stuck around because of the butt or because of the music, ‘you’re welcome’.”
