Kenny Rogers’ First Posthumous Album Features A Dolly Parton Duet
We lost Kenny Rogers three years ago last month, and now his first posthumous album is coming out.
It’s called “Life Is Like a Song”, and it’s a collection of ten songs, including eight unreleased recordings.
The deluxe version has two additional songs, so 12 total.
It’s not out until June 2nd, but two of the tracks are up on YouTube, “Love Is a Drug” and “I Wish It Would Rain”.
It also has a duet with Dolly Parton called “Tell Me That You Love Me”.
They recorded it after “Islands in the Stream” was a hit in 1983.
The only other time it’s been released was on a compilation album in 2009.
