Kelsea Ballerini Performed With Drag Queens, But Dolly Did It First
Kelsea Ballerini is catching heat but is also being praised for performing with “Drag Race” stars at the “CMT Music Awards” on Sunday.
She knew her performance of “If You Go Down (I’m Going Down Too)” it would divide her fans.
She’s been criticized a lot on social media but has also gotten a lot of LOVE.
But one comment stood out, saying if you want to hate on Kelsea for performing with drag queens, you have to hate Dolly Parton because she did it first!
One of the funniest stories she tells is about entering and LOSING a Dolly Drag Queen contest.
Dolly talked about it in a 2012 interview with “Nightline”.
She secretly entered a drag show and exaggerated her make-up so no one knew.
But of all the Dollys on stage, she got the least amount of applause.
