Ingrid Andress Loves A Sad Song

When it comes to writing the song, Ingrid Andress tried to thread the needle on capturing something we’ve all been through but also wanted it to pick up the listener as well.

“So, I feel like we’ve all been in that situation when we’re out at a bar drinking and we think it’s gonna help us like forget our ex or you know whoever we’re trying to get over and ends up just like making us think about them more so I wrote this song with sort of that in mind but I wanted the melody to sound a little happy just so we wouldn’t all be sad and in our feelings. It all just turned out to be a sad bop which I personally love.”

Ingrid is currently climbing the charts with her song with Sam Hunt called “Wishful Drinking.”
