Eric Church Announces Free Concert In Texas
Eric Church upset many fans when he decided to cancel his scheduled show on Saturday, April 2nd in San Antonio, Texas last week in order to attend Saturday night’s Final Four game between his favourite team, the UNC Tar Heels, and their longtime rivals, the Duke Blue Devils, which was played in New Orleans.
On Friday, April 1st, Eric announced a free show for anyone impacted by the cancellation taking place on September 2nd in New Braunfels, Texas.
Eric announced the show on social media writing,
“Thank you San Antonio for letting me take my family to this game. It took a minute to figure out how and when I could properly express my thanks. I will be coming to Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels, TX on Friday, September 2, 2022, for a ONE of a kind FREE show for those of you who bought tickets and were planning to attend our cancelled San Antonio show.” The post ends by stating that more details will be coming soon.
By the way, UNC beat Duke 81-77. The Tar Heels will play Kansas on Monday, April 4th for the NCAA Championship.
