Parker McCollum Will Not Be Singing At His Wedding
Parker McCollum is getting married to his fiancee, Hallie Ray Light, at the end of the month and he most definitely won’t be playing the part of the wedding singer.
He told reporters backstage at this week’s ACM Awards.
“Yeah, it’s my day off. I told my fiancee’s dad, I said, ‘Man, it’s my day off. If you want to write that check I’ll sing,’ but I don’t think I’m going to.”
He recently told PEOPLE (the TV Show!) that if he could pick any entertainer to sing at his wedding it would be George Strait or John Mayer. He joked,
“I can’t afford either of them, so they won’t be there.”
Parker and Hallie will be married in Texas.
Parker is still celebrating his win for New Male Artist of the Year at the ACM Awards, which were held in Las Vegas on Monday, March 7th.
