Joe Nichols On Working And Drinking With Blake Shelton
Joe Nichols recently shared a great drinking story with Blake Shelton.
It happened years ago, the first time they “tried” writing music together.
The session lasted 30 minutes and wasn’t going great. According to Joe, their ideas were so “dumb” they decided to go to lunch.
“And then we ordered a beer. And then we ordered about six beers. We got a little tipsy and went, ‘I got the perfect idea.'”
So, they went back to the writing room, but by the time they got there, they forgot that perfect idea.
So they headed back to the bar and stayed until midnight.
No word if they shared a few cold ones when they teamed up for “I Got Friends That Do” which is on Joe’s latest album, “Good Day for Living”.
