Brett Young Fights With Daughter Over Shoes
As a parent Brett Young has learned an important lesson… you need to pick your battles with your kids.
Brett’s two-year-old daughter Presley has a pair of ugly shoes that she loves, and he hates.
He tried everything to make her stop wearing them, but she fought back until he finally gave in.
“Presley, our oldest, has a pair of shoes that I just… I don’t know who gave ‘em to us. They were like one of those gifts that came without a note, and so I don’t even feel bad saying this. They’re so ugly. I hate them so much. They’re Presley‘s favorite. She tries to put ‘em on every time we leave the house. I’ve tried to throw ‘em away but like, she found ‘em in the trash and brought ‘em back out. And if she’s gonna scream for a half hour cause she can’t wear shoes that you don’t like, she doesn’t care. She’s two. Let her wear her shoes.”
Luckily for Brett, toddlers’ feet tend to grow pretty quickly, so he won’t have to worry about Presley wearing the shoes forever.
