Dolly Parton To Host 57th ACM Awards
Country Music Hall of Famer Dolly Parton will host the 57th ACM Awards live from Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on March 7, 2022, on Amazon Prime Video.
Co-hosts are to be announced at a later date, and nominees will be announced next week.
Dolly is looking forward to hosting the show.
“Watch for us, because we’re going to have some fun.”
Academy CEO Damon Whiteside said it’s an honour to have Dolly hosting.
“Dolly is the most iconic and multitalented artist of all time, and we are proud that she is a friend and supporter of the Academy, a previous host and a 13-time [ACM].”
Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke says the two-hour show will air without commercial interruption and is the first time a major awards event will be available exclusively via streaming.
“We are thrilled to showcase the power of Amazon in creating these impactful global entertainment moments with an icon like Dolly as host.”
Parton first hosted the ACM Awards in 2000.
