Dustin Lynch was on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, January 19th, where he performed “Thinking ‘Bout You” with MacKenzie Porter.

But before they did that, he had some big news to share.

“We’re here to announce my brand new album ‘Blue in the Sky’ will be coming out February 11th, and we’ll be announcing a big tour behind that as well, pretty soon. So excited to share that with you.”

Dustin also talked about being one of the performers at Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa festival, which is in full swing right now.

GMA host Michael Strahan heard that Dustin’s nickname at the festival is “the Mayor” so he explained why.

“After the first year, we were making it up as we went, being the first year of the festival. I had such a great time that he deemed me the mayor, so since then I’ve been invited back every single year.”
