Russell Dickerson Overdid It Celebrating Son’s 1st Birthday
Russell Dickerson’s son, Remington, recently celebrated his first birthday so he and his wife, Kailey, took the baby to Disney World for five days.
Russell says he managed to really overindulge each day, and that includes alcohol.
When the trip was over, he had a show at Country Thunder in Kissimmee, FL which proved to be a tough gig to power through after so much celebrating.
“My body was completely dehydrated, medically exhausted and by the end of the last four songs I had to stop singing words and just like bend over and breathe. I can do the crazy. I can do it for 90 minutes, no problem, but it was like . . . I mean, sheerly, completely exhausted. I should’ve been in the hospital probably. I mean, that’s the closest I’ve ever been to blacking out on stage. I was getting spinny and sparkly, you know what I mean? (laughs) It was bad!”
