Jordan Davis Asked Luke Bryan To Duet By Text
Jordan Davis only had Luke Bryan in mind when he co-wrote his latest hit, “Buy Dirt.”
The two had met before, so Jordan took a chance and reached out to Luke to ask him to join him on the song.
“I just sent him a message one day, a text message, actually, attached with the song and I was like, ‘Hey, Luke, I wrote this. It means a lot to me. You kind of came to mind through the writing process. This song kind of says what you’re about, and if you want to sing on it, great, no pressure,’ and he got right back to me. He’s like, ‘Man, I love the song. Let me live with it for a couple days,’ and then he called me about four or five days later and was like, ‘Hey, when do you want me to sing on this thing?'”
“Buy Dirt” is included on Jordan’s Buy Dirt EP which was released in May.
