Dierks Bentley Struggled With Homeschooling
Like most parents, Dierks Bentley and his wife Cassidy did not enjoy homeschooling their kids during the pandemic.
After two days Dierks said they were ready to cash it in.
“The first day, we crushed it. We were high-fiving each other. We were like, ‘this is so easy’ . . . the two of us were managing three kids, we were getting it done. It’s like we were putting on a clinic on how to teach. Teachers had nothing on us. The next day it was the exact opposite. I mean, screaming, crying . . . and that was just us. I was like, ‘this is brutal, this is awful.’ I mean, you realize no one is more thankful for teachers than parents last year, and hopefully we haven’t forgotten that lesson.”
