Alan Jackson Reflects On Song About 9/11
Alan Jackson’s “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)” is one of the most moving songs about 9/11.
Saturday is the 20th anniversary of that tragic day, so he was asked why the song still resonates with fans.
He’s said he’s still surprised that it’s lasted all these years.
“It [makes] me feel very proud something like that has helped people through that hard time in the beginning and still has a lasting effect outside of where it all started.”
