Darius Rucker Raises More Money For Children’s Hospital

Darius Rucker hosted his 12th annual “Darius Rucker & Friends” event to benefit St. Jude last week in Nashville, raising $410,000 for the children’s hospital.

This brings his overall total fundraising efforts for the facility to more than $2.5 million.

“You see these kids who are sick, and they’re so happy to be there, because their caregivers are so loving and giving to them. And then you find out that nobody ever gets a bill. That blew me away. I was just like, ‘We’ll figure out some way to help you guys as much as I can.’”

This year’s festivities included a golf tournament, silent auction and concert which was sold-out at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium in addition to being live-streamed.

Artists who joined Darius for the concert included Jason Aldean, Brothers Osborne, John Daly, Keb’ Mo’, Runaway June and Elvie Shane.
