Kenny Chesney Tops Album Charts
Kenny Chesney’s brand new album, Here And Now, debuts at Number One this week on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart with sales of 233,841 units. This marks Kenny’s ninth time to top the Billboard 200 chart.
“This No. 1 is so gratifying. It says so much about the players and the songwriters, everyone working in a creative capacity in Nashville, as well as all the people working to get this music into the hands of the people who love and want it.”
Kenny spent 18 months just recording the album in such places as Nashville, Key West, Malibu and on the road.
“This album, Here and Now, was a lot of fun to make because the songs were a lot of fun. There was a lot of living in every one of these songs and when you can take a collection of music like this into the studio and do your best to wrap your arms around it, you know, the creative process is pretty fun.”
