Greta JACOBSEN, of Route 1, Hanover, on Friday. She was 85. Survived by children Laura and Rocky Madsen of Pefferlaw, Stephen Belfry and Bonnie Brownstein of Quadra Island, BC., Douglas Belfry of Strathmore, Alberta, Kenneth and Elena Belfry of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, and Emily Belfry-MacKinnon and Peter Vershuuren of Whitby. Missed by grandchildren Alayna Belfry, Jacob MacKinnon, and Alexander MacKinnon, as well as her partner John Shaw, of Hanover. Fondly remembered by brother Leif and Ann Jacobsen of Elora. Predeceased by her parents, and sisters Liss, Erna, and Elsie.
To honour Greta’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Crawford United Church, 502239 Conc 10, Elmwood, ON, on Saturday, December 22nd at 11 AM. Arrangements entrusted to Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
