Blanche Marie HAWKRIGG (nee Hamilton), of Mount Forest, on Saturday, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Bob Hawkrigg. Loving mother of Scott Hawkrigg and his wife Debbie, Ron Hawkrigg and his wife Nancy, Doug Hawkrigg and his wife Brenda, and Mari-Lea Johnston and her husband Mike. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ron Hamilton and his wife Karen, Iona Bird, Tom Hamilton and his wife Jane, and sister-in-law of Anne Courts and Helen Hawkrigg. Predeceased by brother Larry Hamilton and his wife Claire, brothers-in-law Al Bird, John Courts, Bill Hawkrigg and sister-in-law Marjorie Tangredi.
Friends may call at the England Funeral Home, today, from 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service celebrating Blanche’s life will be held at Mount Forest United Church, 175 Queen Street East, Mount Forest on Wednesday at 2 PM, with visitation at the church prior to the service from 1 – 1:45 PM.
