Former Patriots star Aaron Hernandez found guilty of first-degree murder

Former New England Patriots tight end AARON HERNANDEZ was found guilty of murdering Odin Floyd yesterday . . . and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.  Aaron is 25, so he’s looking at a long stretch.  The murder happened in 2013.  His victim would have been 29 this year.

The jury deliberated for more than 35 hours over parts of seven days . . . and convicted him of first-degree murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful possession of ammunition.

Hernandez didn’t have much of a reaction, so it’s unclear if he realizes the magnitude of how his life has changed.  Less than three years ago . . . a year before Floyd’s murder . . . he signed a $40 million contract with the Patriots.
