Bedwell, Jean (Age 88, frmly Listowel)

Jean BEDWELL (nee Loughran), formerly of Listowel, at Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Sunday in her 89th year. Mother of Karen and Calvin Wenzel of Palmerston, and grandmother of Calen and Karley. Sister of Greta Bedwell of London, Florence MacDonald of Palmerston and friend Harold Grimmer. Remembered by Josie, Alex, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Leslie, nephew John MacDonald, Leslie’s siblings Gordon, Harold, Eva and Margaret.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday from 2 till 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, Listowel on Thursday at 11 AM.

Marie LAIDLAW of Listowel at University Hospital, London on Friday in her 56th year. Wife of Rick Thompson. Mother of Anne Laidlaw and Shawn Lawson, Gail Laidlaw and Justin Masson, Jamie and Amanda Laidlaw. Missed by her 10 grandchildren, step-children Ryan, Shawn and Laura, and 3 step-grandchildren. Sister and sister-in-law of Wayne and Karen Rea, Jean and Marty Ambedian and Louise Rea. Remembered by the Thompson and Laidlaw families.

Humphries, Mary (Age 97, frmly Walton)

Mary HUMPHRIES (nee Bennett) of Brussels, formerly of Walton, peacefully at Clinton Public Hospital on Wednesday in her 98th year. Loving mother of Wenda Humphries and the late Robert Leatham of Elmwood, Kim Kruse and George of Bayfield and mother-in-law of Nora Humphries of London. Remembered by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister-in-law Marjory Humphries. Predeceased by her husband Stewart and son Robert.
Visitation will be held at Duff’s United Church, Walton on Saturday from 11 AM until the time of Mary’s funeral service at 1 PM. Interment at Brussels Cemetery followed by a reception.

Agnes BRIMBLECOMBE (nee Newman) of Drayton, peacefully at the Palmerston and District Hospital on Thursday in her 98th year. Wife of the late Cecil Brimblecombe. Dear mother of Barbara Waite of Mount Forest and Richard and Linda Brimblecombe of Drayton, the late Joan Brunkard and the late Steven Brimblecombe. Missed by 12 grand-, 24 great-grand- and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of the George and Georgina Newman family.
Visitation is at the Drayton Reformed Church, 74 Wellington Street on Tuesday from 2 till 4 and 7 to 9 PM, where the funeral service is held on Wednesday at 11 AM.

Joan BERRY of Brussels at her Huronlea residence on Saturday in her 71st year. Survived by her husband Walter S. Berry; daughter Patricia Berry of Hamilton; and son Mark and his wife Kirsten of London. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Matthew, Josh and Aiden.
A Memorial Tribute Reception will be held this Saturday at the Listowel Community Family Funeral Home, Wallace Avenue North at Fairlane Road for family, relatives and friends commencing at 2 PM with family tributes and a service at 3. Memorial remembrances to the Rotary Club of Listowel would be appreciated.
