Margaret Annette KAI (nee Jackson) of Lucknow, formerly of Wingham and Oakville, peacefully at the Wingham and District Hospital on Tuesday in her 84th year, after a brief illness. Wife of the late Donald Kai. Lovingly remembered by the extended Kai and Jackson families, Margaret’s church family and many personal friends. Her passion for leading choral groups and engaging people through piano and organ playing expertise was renowned.

Gordon ‘Sporty’ GOVIER of Goderich at his residence on Friday at age 66. He was born in Goderich and raised on the family farm in East Wawanosh Township, Auburn area. Survived by his brother Clarence, sister Evie, niece Michelle and nephews Barry, Ron, Kevin and Jeff. Long time friend of Gerry and Glenda Walter. Predeceased by his parents Carl and Alice Govier and brother William.
As per Gordon’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Sporty’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Goderich on Sunday from 1 until 4 PM.
