Alex REID formerly of Minto Township, on Saturday in his 97th year. Husband of the late Lucille Reid. Father of Lloyd and Ann Reid of Minto Township, and Margaret and John Gray of Mississauga. Grandfather of Lee and Shannon Reid, Jessie and Dave Bean, Becky and J.R. Hunt, Laura and Steven Kuipers, Darrin and Steph Reid, Pam and Kyle Will, and Katie Gray and her fiancée Chris Agnew. Great-grandfather of Alex and Jordan Reid, Brooklyn Bean, Harper and Noah Hunt, Lexi, Tori, and Nate Kuipers, and Ali and Haleigh Reid. Brother of Alma Hargrave of Fordwich. Predeceased by his son Murray Reid.
Friends may call at Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Wednesday from 2 until 4 and 7 to 9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 11 AM. Spring interment in Palmerston Cemetery.
