Paul SCHIEDEL of Listowel, on Friday, in his 81st year. Loving husband of Betty. Father of Deb and Jim Lapp of Winnipeg, Bob and Lisa of Hopeville, Jamie and Roberta of Sussex, New Brunswick, and Wendy and Trent Graham of Elmira. Grandfather of Kati and Chris Kozaczka, Emily Lapp and Mark Pili, Kristen Schiedel, Scott Schiedel and Jessica Samson, Melissa, Ben, and Mark Schiedel, Eric and Lucas Schiedel, and Erin and Connor Graham. Remembered by his siblings Wayne and Ruth Schiedel of New Hamburg, Miriam and Albert Ellis of California, Jim and Lynne Schiedel of Huntsville, and John and Sandra Schiedel of Heidelberg, and by Betty’s family Kathleen Cober, Yvonne and Laverne Housser, Barb Hoover, Luella Hoover, Bruce and Ruth Hoover, David and Sherilyn Hoover, Richard and Patricia Hoover, and by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Don Cober, and Karl Hoover, nephew Colin, and grandson David.
Visitation will be held at the Listowel Mennonite Church on Wednesday from 2 until 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Interment and committal services will be held in Zion United Church Cemetery, Wallace Township, on Thursday, at 11 AM, with the funeral service to follow at Listowel Mennonite church at 1 PM. Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
