EJames “Jim” Paul SCHNURR of Walkerton on Tuesday at age 83. Husband of the late Margaret Schnurr (Long). Beloved father of Margaret and Don Pritchard of Walkerton, Sherri and Barry Ray of Minesing, Wanda and Wayne Meyer of Kincardine, MaryBeth and Brad Farrar of Barrie, and honourary daughter Tracey and Kevin Hammell of Walkerton. Cherished grandpa of Justin and Amy, Katy, Emily, Jaymie and Ben, Jessica and Scott, and great-grandpa of Harrison, Weston, Charlie, Chase, Connor, and Olivia. Dear brother of Joan and Glen Vogt, Grace Wagler, Fran Whittington and Judith Ernest and brother-in-law of Helen McLean, Harriet and Peter Kraemer and Gayle and John Schnurr.
Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Catherine Schnurr, brothers-in-law Mike McLean, Ervin Wagler, Marvin Ernest, Doug Whittington, sister-in-law Kay and Len Long and parents-in-law Kelly and Jessie Long.
Jim spent many years enjoying his love of all things antique, farm and steam related. These adventures gave both Jim and his wife Marg an abundance of memories and friendships that lasted a lifetime.
Friends and relatives are invited for visitation on Friday at Cameron Funeral Home,  Walkerton from 10:30 AM until 12 noon. A service celebrating Jim’s life will follow. Reverend Megan Penfold officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Alzheimer’s Society Grey-Bruce or Walkerton & District Hospital Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
