James “Jim” FOOKS of Port Albert, on Monday, in his 79th year. Loving husband and best friend of Karen for over 40 years. Survived by his son Jamie “Jim” and Dallas Fooks and grandsons Caleb and Daniel Fooks of London. Jim will be missed by his sister Marian Langdon of Haliburton, mother in law Ruth Taylor of Benmiller. Brother in law of Kathy Campeau of Thorndale, Judy and John Sinclair of Goderich and Rodger and Tina Taylor of Sutton. Predeceased by his parents Danny and Mae Fooks, his sister Joan McLean, father in law James “Clarence” Taylor, sister in law Marj Taylor and brothers in law Ken Langdon and Don Campeau. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jim was known for his many years working as the Parts Manager for the Ford dealerships. He was an avid Boston Bruins fan who would tolerate the Flyers, loved his blue Ford Mustang and his four legged companion Bobby Orr/Clarke.
A celebration of life will be held at the Goderich Royal Canadian Legion, 56 Kingston Street, Goderich, on Friday, April 5th, from 1 until 4 PM. Donations in his memory can be made to the Huron OSPCA or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to McCallum & Palla Funeral Home, Goderich.
