Teofil POLKIEWICZ, World War 2 Veteran, of Hanover, on Thursday, in his 100th year. Survived by sons Chris and Joanne Polkiewicz of Sebringville, Edward Polkiewicz of New Lowell, Rick and Marlene Polkiewicz of Waterloo, daughter Mary and Steven Medley of Oshawa, and son-in-law Len Babiak of Aurora. Loved grandfather of Julie, Michael, Jennifer, Stephen, Elizabeth, Mark, Adam, Colin, Christine, Matthew, and Ryan, and great-grandfather of Jacob, Kate, Megan, Benjamin, James, Olivia, and Zoey.  Dearly missed by longtime friend Bessie Fitzsimmons of Hanover. Predeceased by his beloved wife Anna, daughter Barbara Babiak, brother Bogdan, and a sister in infancy.
Members of the Royal Canadian Legion are asked to attend a Legion Service held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Sunday, at 12:45 PM. Visitation will commence from 1 to 3:30 PM with Vigil Prayers to be held at 3:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 7th, at 10 AM, at Holy Family Church. Interment in Holy Family Cemetery, Hanover. Arrangements entrusted to Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
