Ivan BENNEWIES, 89, of Route 1, Bornholm on Tuesday. Beloved husband of the late Hazel Bennewies and the late Marjorie Bennewies. Dear father of Dale and Debby Bennewies and Robert and Betty Bennewies. Loving grandfather of Amy and Peter Lejcar, Ashley and Jeff Kroonen, Nathan and Shannon Bennewies, Daryl and Kristen Bennewies, Denny and Joanne Horan, Jeff and Loree Horan, and Krista and Joey Glover. Cherished great grandfather of Abigail and Violet Lejcar, Luke, Clara and Ella Kroonen, Hailey and Logan Bennewies, Taya, Jessie and Kinslee Horan, and Jamie and Paislee Glover. Special friend of Vera Ahrens. Dear brother-in-law of Selina Jutzi, Elva Jutzi, Helen Cook, Marjorie Brimblecombe, Lois Spieran and Shirley Jutzi. Also surviving is the Ahrens family.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, on Friday, from 2 until 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brodhagen at 11 AM with Pastor Laura Sauder officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell.
