James “Jim” MESSERSCHMIDT of Route 1, Elmwood, on Saturday. Survived by wife of 29 years Bonnie Becker-Messerschmidt. Father of Alex of Owen Sound and Joy of Durham. Grandfather of 2. Remembered by siblings Paul and Susan, Judy and Ron Schreinert, Wendy Ahrens, Faye and Paul Lantz, and Lorie and Allan Jarvis. Missed by mother-in-law Marion Becker and brother-in-law Michael and Melissa Becker. Predeceased by his parents, father-in-law Orval Becker and 2 brothers-in-law.
Visitation at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Desboro on Thursday, from 12 noon until 1:45 PM followed by the funeral service at 2 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
