John VAN ROOY of Kingsbridge, on Sunday, at age 89. Beloved husband of Jean for almost 65 years. Father of Mary and Mike, Bernie and Steve, Joe and Lynn, Henry and Val, Diane and Mark, Frankie and Paul, Teresa and Mark, and Paul and Holly. Missed by his 26 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his 5 brothers. Also survived and fondly remembered by extended family in Canada and The Netherlands.
The family will receive friends at McCallum & Palla Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3 until 6 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church on Thursday at 11 AM. Interment at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Kingsbridge. Arrangements entrusted to McCallum & Palla Funeral Home, Goderich.
