New Histories/Old Roots

A night of history off the page & live on stage.  Artists with diverse points-of-view

bring history home, for intimate & powerful performances.

These are the histories you haven’t heard, but may recognize

from rural Huron County to the trenches of the First World War,

to a granddaughter’s remembrance of a grandmother in India,

and to the voices of Holocaust survivors.

Featuring audience talk-backs with the artists & co-directors,

& hosted by local historian David Yates.

Get tickets on-line via Eventbrite, or at the Livery Theatre during office hours,

Tuesday – Friday:  1 pm to 4:30 pm (cash only).

Staging Our Histories is a not-for-profit public history initiative

that explores the convergence of history, memory & performance.
