Chester Bennington’s autopsy has been released
Chester Bennington‘s autopsy has been released. Originally reported by TMZ, Chester had “traces of MDMA” when he died, however Linkin Park bandmate, Mike Shinoda said this was false as it was based on ONE test. There were 2 subsequent tests that disagreed. Chester had a trace of alcohol in his system when he took his life in July.
Just clearing this up: TMZ erroneously printed CB had MDMA in his system when he passed. That was incorrect, they misread the report. They have since corrected their piece, see below. I hope other publications have the decency to do the same. pic.twitter.com/MwglKqjsOc

Chester’s widow, Talinda shared that he had a history of depression and suicide attempts. Allegedly, Chester had ‘hogtied’ himself and threw himself into his pool after heavily drinking back in November 2016. He had a change of heart and broke free. This incident, however, was redacted from the autopsy report based on “marital privilege.”
There was also an incident back in 2006 involving alcohol again where Chester threatened suicide and fled his home with a gun. Talinda had the cops out to find him.
