Rascal Flatts Getting Sued
Rascal Flatts has been sued by the owner of some retail space in Hollywood, California over what was supposed to be their restaurant space.
According to TMZ, the band’s restaurant was supposed to be housed in 7,960 square feet at the Hollywood and Highland complex. The owner of the space agreed to give Rascal Flatts $1 million to build it out, giving the group a $102,000 advance, but he claims that none of the money was spent on improvements. The owner also says that Rascal Flatts owes about $300,000 in rent.
The Los Angeles location of Rascal Flatts Restaurant was supposed to be the first location, and it was announced in April of last year. Since then, the trio has opened one establishment in Stamford, CT. Previously announced locations in Minneapolis, Cleveland and Phoenix never materialized.
