Keith Urban Plays Surprise Show in Nashville
Keith Urban surprised fans at a local club in Nashville on Thursday, April 13th with a free concert. Keith popped up at 12th & Porter and played for two-and-a-half hours.
He sang his hits as well as a few cover songs including Tommy Tutone’s “867-5309 / Jenny,” the Steve Miller Band’s “The Joker” and “Some Days You Gotta Dance,” a song he originally performed with his former 1990s band, The Ranch.
Keith also made the night of one fan who is trying to make it as a singer herself. Local Nashville artist Lisa Nicole handed Keith one of her CDs while he was on stage so he invited her up to sing “We Were Us” with him.
Keith’s wife, Nicole Kidman, was also in attendance. She danced and sang along with most of his songs as she watched from the crowd. According to reports, Keith planned this show because he simply “wanted to play.”
