Brett Eldredge celebrated his latest Number One hit, “I Wanna Be That Song,” with a party in Nashville on Wednesday, April 5th. He gathered with his co-writers Ross Copperman and Scooter Carusoe to toast the feat.

Brett says that he, Ross and Scooter instantly knew the song was special.

“There’s a bit of magic in music, or there’s a whole lot of magic in music and I felt like when we all wrote this song we just kind of captured the actual essence of what a song can do for your life and talk about that with this song. It was a special thing that connected . . . The day we wrote it I just felt like — we all talked about it — we knew it from that moment, I felt like, on this one. Sometimes you don’t know right away. This one, it was a for sure ‘I can’t wait to sing this to the crowd’ because it comes from singing to those people and what I want to be to them.”

“I Wanna Be That Song” is Brett’s sixth consecutive Number One hit.
