Shania Could Return To Vegas
Shania Twain has changed her mind. The superstar had planned on ending her live performance run at the conclusion of her current Rock This Country farewell tour, but now she says that not only is she extending the trek, she’s considering a return to Vegas for another residency.
So far, Shania is adding a European leg to the tour tour, and a tour of other countries is reportedly being considered. The 50-year-old singer told the Las Vegas Sun,
“It’s become far more meaningful than I thought it would be . . . I’m not ready to stop. We’re already talking about going onto Europe at some point . . . and maybe add on Asia, Australia and New Zealand. I have to take it phase by phase.”
Rolling Stone reports that Shania is wanting to begin another residency in Sin City by the fall of 2016 or early 2017. She wrapped up her two-year stint at Caesar’s Palace in December.
The current leg of the Rock This Country tour ends on October 22nd in Prince George, British Columbia. Shania is still working on a new album, her first since the 2002 release of Up!.
