Miracle in Space

It was 45 years ago this month that Apollo 13 suffered an exploded oxygen tank in space.  This was the seventh manned mission to the moon and was anything but routine.  The explosion resulted in a loss of power, loss of cabin heat, shortage of water and compromised the carbon dioxide removal system.  The crew returned safely to earth on April 17.  The calamity was made into a motion picture, and the crew became heros.  Have a listen as the situation makes the news…Apollo 13
